Rachel Gross (she/her) has spent the past 25 years exploring and co-creating authentic, meaningful, and inspiring Jewish communities. Prior to joining the JSP team, she served as executive director of Temple Micah in DC and Germantown Jewish Centre in Philadelphia, both synagogues dedicated to re-envisioning and redefining what synagogues can be. Rachel feels most alive when she’s learning Jewish texts, and has spent time learning at Pardes Institute in Jerusalem. She loves the fall holidays, and finds joy in celebrating both Sukkot and Talk Like a Pirate Day. Rachel holds BAs in English and Jewish Studies and an MA in English from the University of Maryland.
