Have You Made Art About It Yet? Creation Edition! with Rabbi Adina Allen

Explore the power of art making as a tool for personal and collective renewal!

9:00 - 10:30 am PT / 12:00 - 1:30 pm ET

This week, Torah begins with the creative act of the Divine bringing forth the world. As humans made b’tzelem Elohim (in the image of God), we are created creative. It is through our creativity that we imagine, envisioning new systems and structures, it is through creativity that we can learn to trust our own insight and intuition, it is through creativity that we can, in a low stakes way, try out taking risks and iterate and allow ourselves to be in process, never finished, always becoming. Using the Jewish Studio Process - a unique methodology combining practices from the field of art therapy with a reimagined approach to Jewish learning and spirituality - we'll nurture our inherent creativity to tap into the hope and possibility inherent in times of challenge and change. This program is offered free of charge and will take place on Zoom with closed captions.
