Join us for a three-week journey through the quiet depths of winter, as we prepare our hearts and spirits for Chanukah. In this season, as night stretches longer and the air turns still, we’re invited to lean into the darkness, discovering within it a sanctuary—a sacred space where we can slow down, rest, and attune ourselves to the voices of our souls and the divine. Together, we’ll embrace the power of this moment in the Jewish calendar, honoring the call to tend to the small flickers of light within us.

During these weekly 90-minute, virtual sessions we will engage in the Jewish Studio Process, a unique methodology combining practices from the field of art therapy with a reimagined approach to Jewish learning, to cultivate our inherent creativity as a spiritual practice. This series will be facilitated by K' Keshira haLev Fife.

Keshira haLev Fife (she/they pronouns) is a Kohenet (Hebrew Priestess) and a bi-racial, queer Jewish person who delights in serving as davennatrix (shlichat tzibbur), lifespiral ceremony/ritual creatrix, consultant, facilitator, teacher, liturgist and songstress. She serves as Founding Kohenet of Kesher Pittsburgh, Program Director of beloved, Core Faculty Member with the Institute for Jewish Spirituality, and also enjoys working with, Kirva, the Avodah Institute for Social Change, The Jewish Studio Project, and the Jewish Learning Collaborative, among other national Jewish organisations. Though both the lands of the Osage & Haudenosaunee people (aka Pittsburgh, PA) and the Gadigal people (Sydney, AUS) feel like home, Keshira and her beloved have been in an extended period of travel since January 2023. Keshira is also a graduate of JSP’s Creative Facilitator Training Program! www.keshirahalev.com
