Julie Kohl is a retired pediatrician and mohelet, who is currently training to be a spiritual director.

She has served on the boards of The Institute for Jewish Spirituality, Limmud Seattle, Gideon Hausner Jewish Day School, Stanford Hillel and the National Organization of American Mohalim.

She lives in Seattle with her husband of 40 years and two golden doodles, Yofi and Sadie. Her daughter, Zoe, lives in Seattle. Her son, Benjamin, lives in San Diego, where she spends a few months each year.
